BRIEF: Acree named CEO, president at Vantage Credit Union [St. Louis Post-Dispatch]

Sept. 23--Vantage Credit Union has promoted Eric Acree to president and chief executive officer.

During Acree's nearly 23-year-long career at Bridgeton-based Vantage, he served as executive vice president and marketing director, among other roles. He has been interim president and CEO since last September.

Acree also is board chairman of Vantage's mortgage and insurance subsidiary, Members Resource LLC, and president of TecHatchery, a technology subsidiary.

"He's proven in the past year of transition that he has the strategic vision and ability to lead a large and complex organization," Vantage's board chairman Jerry Eichholz said in a statement. "He's been a catalyst in helping Vantage grow into the leading and innovative organization it has become."

Vantage has more than $716 million in assets and 14 local branches.
