BOWLING: Schoffs, Gilmores among winners at Lewiston

Feb. 26--The pairing of Angela Schoff and Tammy Schoff won the Junior Female-Adult Female division at the 15th annual Adult-Youth Tournament at Lewiston Event Center. The duo rolled a 1,349 total series.

Winning the Junior Male-Adult Male category were Darrian Gilmore and Darrian Gilmore, Jr. Combined, they rolled down 1,411 pins.

In mixed teams, Staci Biondi and Ed Ventry, student and coach on the state-bound Niagara Falls High School girls bowling team, teamed up to roll a 1,297 and claim the Junior Female-Adult Male division, while Eric Schimmel and Pearl Murphy rolled a 1,360 to win the Junior Male-Adult Female division.

In games of note from recent days, John Leszczak rolled a 300 game as part of his 803 series in the Scotty's Barbershop 5-Man league at Rapids Bowling Center. Also rolling a 300 in the same league was Zane Tester, who finished with a 770 series,

David Powers rolled a 300 in the Fire Fighters 4-Man league at Bowl-O-Drome. Mike Johnson tossed his 300 in the A-Best Roofing Men's League at Island Lanes.
