HEADLINE: Aetna appoints new head of investor relations
HIGHLIGHT:
Aetna, a US-based provider of health insurance products and related services, has appointed Kim Keck to lead its investor relations, reporting to executive vice president and CFO Joseph Zubretsky.
Ms Keck will be vice president responsible for maintaining Aetna's relationships with the investor and analyst communities. She replaces Jeffrey Chaffkin, who is leaving Aetna to pursue personal interests. In addition to leading investor relations, Ms Keck will also continue to lead the Treasurer's organization. Ms Keck has been with Aetna since 1988, most recently leading the Treasurer's, controllers, actuarial, and tax organizations. She also served as head of planning and performance management and head of capital management and rating agencies. She was chief of staff to chairman and CEO Ronald Williams from 2005 to 2008. Mr Zubretsky said: "We're very pleased to have Kim Keck take on this important role for Aetna. Her experience, knowledge of the company and expertise as a finance executive should serve us well as we move to position the company for future success. I'd also like to thank Jeff Chaffkin for his significant contributions during the past several years and wish him well in the future."
