Pa. smoke shop has Santa huff on a hookah

GREENVILLE, Pa. (AP) _ A northwestern Pennsylvania tobacco shop is turning the image of the jovial, pipe-smoking Santa on its head by having Saint Nick huff on a hookah. Up In Smoke store manager Sue Stoyer says that customer reaction to the display has been mixed. But she notes that many early depictions of Santa Claus have him puffing on a pipe.

NM woman gives birth in truck during snowstorm

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) _ Russell LeFevre learned how to birth a baby in nursing school using clamps, blankets, a suction bulb that clears a baby's mouth of mucus and other medical supplies. When his wife's water broke in the front seat of a truck as it sped down an icy New Mexico highway in a snowstorm Tuesday, LeFevre just had his hands, some jackets and shoelaces.

Utah man wins Lamborghini, crashes it hours later

SANTAQUIN, Utah (AP) _ A truck driver who won a $380,000 Lamborghini in a convenience store contest crashed the sports car six hours after he got it, and now plans to sell the 640-horsepower convertible because he cannot afford the insurance or taxes. "I already had offers on it. I'm going to sell it," David Dopp said Wednesday. "I have bills more important than a Lamborghini. I've got a family to support."

Houston man paying $1 parking ticket 58 years late

HOUSTON (AP) _ A Houston man says he wants to clear his own conscience and pay a $1 parking ticket he got 58 years ago, even though the city's traffic violation records have been purged. Dale Crawford sent a letter to city officials after finding the ticket among some keepsakes. He says it's a debt that he wants to pay, though it's a "small, almost unnoticeable amount."

Utah woman accused of assaulting ice cream driver

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) _ A Utah woman faces misdemeanor charges after police say she sprayed an ice cream truck driver in the face with cleaning solution because she was upset about the driver's prices.
