5 CAA Members & Agents Elected to KAIA Leadership Positions

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA) announced that five of its members and agents were recently elected to leadership positions with the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA). CAA member Bob Wood, president of Wood-Dulohery Insurance, was elected president of KAIA. Dusty Davis, a broker at ICI Insurance (a CAA member agency), was elected treasurer of KAIA. CAA member Chad Fuqua, owner of Fuqua Ruth Typer Insurance, CAA member Jim Runnebaum, president of SBS Insurance Agency, and Ryan Murry, broker at ICI (a CAA member agency), were all elected to the board of directors. Elections were held at KAIA annual meeting in October 2013 at Overland Park, Kansas. With expansion into Oklahoma and Kansas, Texas-based CAA is a managing general agency (MGA) committed to further expansion across the country to strengthen the independent insurance agency system through profitable growth and exceptional service for its member agencies.

CAA members and agents elected to KAIA leadership in 2013 include:

Bob Wood, president of Wood-Dulohery Insurance, Inc. and CAA member, was elected president of the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA). Wood has served on the KAIA board of directors since 2003, most recently as vice president and president-elect. In 2001, the local chamber named him Business Person of the Year. Chad Fuqua, AAI, AIS, owner of Fuqua Ruth Typer Insurance and CAA member, was elected a KAIA board member and has been serving since 2012. Fuqua also sits on the KAIA government affairs committee, and has been the KAIA golf chairman since 2006. Davis has served on the KAIA board since 2006, and was elected to the executive committee in 2012.
