NIPR Adds New Features To Its Mobile App For Producers
InsuranceNewsNet
The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) has launched new features to its popular mobile app.
Powered by NIPR's Producer Database (PDB), the app allows insurance professionals to access their information on a mobile device, making compliance faster and more convenient.
The new License Renewal Reminder will push notifications of an upcoming license expiration. This will give producers plenty of time to complete their renewals and meet continuing education requirements.
The new Appointment Information feature will allow producers to see their company appointments, termination date(s) and effective date(s).
"This is a part of NIPR's three-year strategic plan to provide technological excellence and consistent innovation for our customers. With these additions, insurance producers will have easy access to more of their credentialing information," said Karen Stakem Hornig, NIPR CEO. "NIPR's mobile app is a great monitoring tool to help busy insurance professionals meet their regulatory compliance responsibilities."
Any professional licensed by a state insurance department can use the app to view their basic licensing information – which includes license numbers, expiration dates and lines of authority – in addition to the new features.
Insurance professionals can download the app for free by searching for "NIPR Mobile" in the Apple or Google Play app Store.
