Human Resource Management Solution Providers, Lyceum Business Services and BenePAY, Announce Merger

PR Web

Gaithersburg, MD (PRWEB) June 03, 2014

BenePAY, LLC of Grand Rapids, MI and Lyceum Business Services, LLC of Gaithersburg, MD announce a merger of the business operations of two privately-held entities. The new company, Benepay Technologies, LLC (BPT), brings together the software development capabilities of Lyceum with the comprehensive payroll and HR services of BenePAY.

The resulting merger will enable BPT to help organizations address complex compliance and human capital management requirements, largely fueled by the continuous desire to improve efficiencies and by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

As a technology company founded in 2003, Lyceum created OneTouch, a truly integrated single-database and single sign-on bene?t administration, HR, payroll, time tracking, and compliance solution for HCM practitioners. Lyceum's more notable clients include the United States Public Health Service, Get Well Network, Skype, and the YMCA.

Established in 2008, BenePAY LLC became a trademark of superior service and support. The company grew by leveraging non-integrated systems into cohesive solutions for organizations across industries. BenePAY supports clients through strong and valued relationships leveraging channel partnerships with CPAs, brokers, insurance carriers and others. The market quickly rewarded this model, and BenePAY has grown to service more than 1,400 clients across all 50 states.

The move by BenePAY and Lyceum reflects the companies' shared vision of the future of Human Capital Management (HCM), which entails eliminating paperwork and manual tasks from today's HR departments. This vision is especially important in light of the requirement for continuous improvements fueled by upcoming compliance challenges. As the A?ordable Care Act continues to rede?ne the nature of HCM for employers across the nation, all areas of business require an integrated response.

"The IRS is going to be on top of businesses when the ACA takes effect. The OneTouch solution will give control to the admin to make it easy for them to stay compliant, and at the same time remove many of the repetitive tasks from their daily activities" said Casey Young, CEO of Benepay Technologies.

The combined capabilities of BenePAY and Lyceum allow BPT to provide an array of HCM solutions through a single technology platform. BPT's OneTouch solution addresses administrative concerns within human resources, bene?t administration, compliance, and payroll. And it provides HR administrators comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for complete control and insightful management.

With cutting edge technology, proven through a decade of service to the federal government, as well as industry experts with years of service experience, BPT is poised to help employers across the nation successfully address the upcoming compliance challenges and other regulatory changes expected in the years ahead.

"Benepay Technologies is delighted that this merger will offer expanded services to existing clients and partners. We are equally excited about the new business opportunities this provides, and we look forward to delivering the industry's best, fully integrated solution," says Erik Rind, President and COO of Benepay Technologies.

The new company will have offices in Maryland, Michigan, Texas, New Jersey, Ohio, and Florida.
