It's debatable if the fiduciary standard is 'higher' than suitability. But the better question might be, who's holding the bar?
The Graham Company, an insurance and employee benefits brokerage, announced Producer Christopher Keith was recognized as a Risk & Insurance Power Broker in the Workers' Compensation category.
According to a release, this award is presented annually by Risk & Insurance magazine to a selection of the most effective and influential commercial insurance brokers. Keith, age 36, is also highlighted in the annual "Under 40" section, which identifies rising stars in the insurance industry.
"Over Chris' mere four-year history in the industry, he has continuously delivered exceptional service and value to our clients in high-risk industries," said William A. Graham IV, Chairman and CEO of The Graham Company. "As a company, we are proud to be represented on this list of top brokers. Earning this coveted recognition is a testament to the level of service our clients can expect from our team of esteemed risk management professionals."
In 2013, 150 individual brokers were selected as winners in 24 industry categories. The Power Broker designation is based on nominations provided by brokers and risk managers and is judged based on the quality of the application and on references by risk managers in each industry sector. Hundreds of risk managers and risk executives were interviewed in the process of identifying and soliciting, evaluating and judging the nominees. Brokers were judged primarily on their creativity in solving risk-related problems during 2012, their demonstrated industry knowledge and their high level of client service.
The Graham Company is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm committed to enhancing employee safety and business viability through an action oriented approach to risk management.
Risk & Insurance, published 12 times a year, focuses on strategic articles about risk management and insurance.
