Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services Expands to Florida
Premier agency network enlarges footprint to offer its proprietary growth acceleration services to independent agencies in Florida
WELLESLEY, Mass. (May 9, 2019) Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services, the premier membership alliance for independent insurance agencies, announces its expansion to Florida. CEO J. Two Florida agencies become Renaissance Alliance members
In its first month in Florida, two Miami-area agencies have already joined the Alliance: NEA Insurance Group, LLC, Miami, FL and Avante Insurance Agency, Miami FL; In addition, 9 regional insurance markets have already partnered with the Alliance, supplementing the 45 carriers currently in the Alliance network.

Senior leadership team named
Renaissance Alliance is building a local team supported by the existing infrastructure, expertise, technology and 80+ staff members. Two senior appointments have been named to lead the local Alliance team. Both have deep knowledge and expertise in the Florida insurance marketplace, as well as strong local relationships built over long-term careers in Florida.
- Oscar Miniet, CIC, Executive Vice President, Southeast Region. Leveraging three decades of independent agency experience in the Florida insurance markets, Miniet will grow the Alliance membership and its roster of strategic southeast regional and national brokers and carriers.
- Manuel Ruiz, JD, CIC, AIC, Vice President Southeast Operations. Ruiz holds 30+ years of experience in agency management, commercial insurance, claims and risk management. His focus will be enabling Alliance members to achieve accelerated growth, profitability, and optimized agency valuation.
