Reassured Ltd awarded Princess Royal Training Award 2018
The UK’s largest life insurance broker, Reassured Ltd, has been awarded the Princess Royal Training Award 2018.
Representing exceptional training programmes for their staff, this award is in its 3rd year and is assessed by HRH The Princess Royal alongside seven other leading figures.
Reassured was amongst 47 other UK organisations, including Legal & General, John Lewis and Lloyds Banking, to receive this prestigious award.
They received the award for their commitment to learning and development, which has led to a higher retention rate amongst staff.
The company replaced their 10-day on-boarding workshop with an experiential 12-week programme which reduced staff turnover significantly.
The company has grown from just 4 members of staff in 2009 to over 400 in 2018, with over 90% of managers being promoted internally.
It is still undergoing a huge recruitment drive across all three of its offices and shows no signs of slowing in terms of growth.
Laura Benton, COO of Reassured, said:
"We are so excited to receive this award because it’s about our people. Having grown from 4 to over 400 people in the last 9 years, you cannot do this successfully unless your team grows with you as a company.
We invest heavily in the development of our people, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because your company is only ever a reflection of your people. It’s the reason you are successful, the reason your customers get great service and the reason that we have been able to achieve all of the great things we have.
Our team continues to grow at the pace of around 15 new employees each month, with only 9% of new starters having previous industry experience."
