Michael J. Sapyta, CFP, CLU, Joins Highland Capital Brokerage as Vice President, Advanced Planning

(Birmingham, AL, January 10, 2018 – Highland Capital Brokerage, Inc. (HCB) a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc., announced that Michael Sapyta has joined the company as Vice President, Advanced Planning. In this position, Mr. Sapyta will serve as an expert resource for HCB producers on customized wealth transfer solutions – from advanced planning designs to the implementation of sales concepts with integrated life insurance solutions.

Prior to joining Highland, Sapyta gained valuable experience designing and implementing advanced insurance planning strategies, qualified retirement plans, and the executive benefits market with premier retail and brokerage firms.

Mr. Sapyta received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Certified Financial Planning® (CFP) and a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU) designation as well as a Series 7 (General Securities Representative), a Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law), and Life and Health Licenses. Mr. Sapyta is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, and the Financial Planning Association.
