Keystone names Mark Maurer as its Michigan vice president
NORTHUMBERLAND, Pa. (June 6, 2017) – Keystone Insurers Group (Keystone), one of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance brokers, today announced the appointment of Mark Maurer as its state vice president in Michigan.
“We are excited to have Mark joining our team,” said Mike Reddy, Keystone’s employee benefits division president and leader of field operations. “His rich history in the insurance business coupled with his knowledge of the Michigan agency market brings the perfect skill set to help Keystone achieve our growth goals.”
Maurer recently was vice president at Arlington/Roe. While there he established an office in Grand Rapids and created and coached a team that grew to $20 million in premium. He also helped increase the number of contracted agents in the state, working to position the carrier as a program provider to the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents.
Maurer, who lives in Grand Rapids, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Olivet College in Michigan.
