Mary Castiglia Named Senior Vice President of Hub International
Insurance Brokerage Expands Regional Sales Team
San Francisco, California, April 17, 2013: Hub International Insurance Services (Hub), a leading insurance brokerage firm, announced today that Mary Castiglia has joined the organization as the Senior Vice President of their San Francisco Commercial Division. Ms. Castiglia will be responsible for producer recruitment, business development and sales. Ms. Castiglia has extensive experience in global insurance programs, including errors and omissions, directors and officers and renewable energy risk attenuation programs and solutions for both publically traded and privately-held technology and energy companies and enterprises. Ms. Castiglia and her team will be based at one of Hub newest locations from a recent acquisition, at 3 Embarcadero, Suite 560, San Francisco, CA.
Most recently, Ms. Castiglia served as a practice leader with a large regional insurance brokerage in the San Francisco Bay area, responsible for the development of new business submissions primarily in the technology sector and renewable energy sectors. Ms. Castiglia is a fourth generation insurance and risk management executive with over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry.
Ms. Castiglia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College where she also played intercollegiate basketball for four years and graduated with honors. She is very active in a number of national and international insurance and risk management organizations and was recently featured in Gentry Wealth’s article “The Economic Collision” covering the Financial Executives International Policy Conference. Additionally, Ms. Castiglia holds the following accreditations: Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU).
