Liberty Mutual Insurance Appoints Glasmeier to Distribution VP for Mid-Atlantic Region
Boston, MA - June 17, 2013 – Anita Glasmeier has been appointed Vice President of Distribution of Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Mid-Atlantic Business Insurance operation.
Ms. Glasmeier will be based in Fairfield, Ohio and will be responsible for agency distribution management, the administration of agent incentive plans, and marketing execution within the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
“Anita joins us with more than 20 years of marketing management and sales experience and possesses great understanding of the local agency relationships that set us apart in the market,” said Mike Winner, president, Mid-Atlantic region. “She’ll work closely with our regional vice presidents and our agent and broker partners to achieve strong business growth in the next several years, especially in the small commercial segment.”
Prior to this appointment, Glasmeier was Vice President for Liberty Mutual’s National Insurance Specialty operation, where she managed marketing and distribution for construction, energy, excess casualty, multinational practice, and programs.
