Wood-Ridge Council Passes Three Ordinances on Final Reading

WOOD-RIDGE, NJ – The Wood-Ridge Council approved three ordinances on Final Reading and one on Introduction at the May 21st meeting of the Wood-Ridge Mayor and Council held in Council Chambers at the Municipal building.

The following ordinances were approved on Final Reading:

Ordinance No. 2025-10

An Ordinance Amending Chapter 288 of the Code of the Borough of Wood-Ridge, Entitled "Flood Damage Prevention," to Make It Compliant With the Requirements of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

Bond Ordinance 2025-11

Bond Ordinance to Authorize the Acquisition of Real Property (Block 314, Lots 14, 19 and 20) for Parking and Other Public Purposes in, by and for the Borough of Wood-Ridge, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey; to Appropriate the Sum of $1,000,000 to Pay the Cost Thereof; to Make a Down Payment; to Authorize the Issuance of Bonds to Finance Such Appropriation; and to Provide for the Issuance of Bond Anticipation Notes in Anticipation of the Issuance of Such Bonds.
