MADISON, Wisconsin, Oct. 31 -- The Wisconsin Republican Party issued the following statement:
* * *
Less than one week from today, Wisconsin voters will head to the polls to make their picks for the future of our state. Republicans in Wisconsin have repeatedly shown that they're willing to follow through on promises on the campaign trail and that they're willing to fight on behalf of hard-working families to build a better future. Democrats from Tammy Baldwin to Tony Evers are pushing the failed policies of yesterday that would take Wisconsin backward.
"Whether it's Tammy Baldwin's support of ending private health insurance for millions, or Tony Evers' high-tax policies, hard-working Wisconsin families can't afford to let Democrats take control," said Mark Morgan, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. "With our economy headed in the right direction we need to reelect Governor Walker and send President Trump a new conservative senator in Washington, Leah Vukmir. WisconsinRepublicans are fired up and ready to stop Democrats from taking our state backward."
