HANOVER, N.H. (AP) _ White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. (WTM) on Friday reported second-quarter profit of $138.5 million.
The Hanover, New Hampshire-based company said it had profit of $44.56 per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to $25.38 per share.
The insurer posted revenue of $426.7 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $254.1 million.
White Mountains shares have risen 13% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 27% in the last 12 months.
