US Family Health Plan Returns as a Client to Health Integrated

After a brief period with an alternative outsource vendor, the plan realized the quality and value that Health Integrated had consistently delivered. USFHP returns under a 3 year commitment to Health Integrated to assure that the medical needs of their members are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.

USFHP is a Department of Defense Designated Provider of the TRICARE Prime Health Program, and has been providing care to the military community for over 30 years. Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers manages the plan and serves parts of New York (including New York City), all of New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania and western Connecticut.

"We are dedicated to providing our military beneficiaries the very best healthcare services available," said Jeff Bloom, executive director of USFHP. "We realized our decision to move our services away from Health Integrated was not in the best interest of our members and we are excited to renew our partnership."

Health Integrated will serve USFHP members and providers with efficient, evidence-based utilization management to optimize treatment effectiveness and appropriate use of resources for members in the plan. Additionally, Health Integrated will educate members with diabetes and asthma so they can make informed choices about their health.
