United States grows one-tenth more than estimated in first quarter of 2024
The U.S. Gross Domestic Product advanced 0.4% in the first quarter of this year, a tenth more than the figure estimated a month ago by the Bureau of Economic Statistics in its first revision of the data. The data comes two weeks before the Federal Reserve holds a new monetary policy meeting, at which it will decide whether to begin lowering interest rates.
