Trump faltered in first 100 days

The first 100 days of President Trump's "America First" agenda is faltering with the many unconstitutional attempts to undermine decades of both conservative and progressive policies.

The widely unpolished and xenophobic immigration policy failed to be implemented because it was deemed unconstitutional by a lower court. The promise to repeal and replace Obamacare died without support from a Republican-held House and Senate.

Trump has now backpedaled on the first Bush administration's North American Free Trade Agreement policy, while promising only months ago to eliminate it because it was a "bad deal." This administration ran on the premise that it would "drain the swamp." How could Trump accomplish this with a cabinet that has the largest swath of billionaires, sycophants and military generals in presidential history?

President Trump and his cast of right-wing zealots are the swamp, and any indication that he'll rid the nation of an underbelly has been handicapped by his own hubris.

American voters were bamboozled by a lame real-life version of Willie Stark in "All the King's Men." Stark's campaign slogan coincides with Trump's "Make America Great Again" in that it is utter nonsense. Donald Trump's campaign rhetoric was hollow and as toothless as his presidency.
