Ticked off! @flood insurance [Orlando Sentinel]

Hello, I am ticked off for it took seven days for a birthday card to go to Headland, Ala., and then it was delivered to the wrong address one mile from where belonged. Thank goodness the people knew the one I sent card too. It took two days to delivery from that address to intended! Nine days to get a birthday card to proper address! Great ,ail delivery?!

Why can’t concerts ever start anytime close to the listed time? Why is there always 30-40 minutes between acts, even when there is minimal equipment change? Announce the correct set times so we can plan accordingly!

If you see a car without a handicapped permit parked in a handicapped spot, take the time to call the law on them! Easy enough!

I’m ticked off that regular home insurance does not cover flooding in the event of a hurricane. Most folks who do not live a flood zone do not buy flood insurance and then when some horrendous event like Hurricane Ian comes along, they are screwed! Doesn’t seem fair to me.

I just bought a tool packed in a very nice plastic storage case. However, it is impossible to get the tool back in it. Even an extra half inch height in the top or space to the sides it could accept it. Cords are often heavy duty and are usually a complication in repacking.

Thank you to the Boy Scouts who will come to my house on Saturday, Nov. 12 to pick up my bags of non-perishable food items that I leave by my mailbox as part of their Scouting For Food project that will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank. How easy is that to make a food donation and help needy people in our community?
