The U.S. Job Market Has Recovered Faster Than (Almost) Anyone Predicted
Amid some other unfortunate economic developments— accelerating inflation, a stock-market plunge, declining productivity— there's one bright spot. So bright, in fact, it's almost blinding. U.S. employers added 428,000 jobs on net in April, about the same number added in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.
