The Institutes Introduce New Insurance Data Analytics Designation
The Institutes, the leading insurance education provider for the risk management and property-casualty industry, has released an Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) designation.
The AIDA designation was created in response to rise and increasing impact of big data and new business technologies and provides an overview of advanced analytics and its application to the risk and insurance industry.
By completing the four required courses, professionals who earn the AIDA designation will learn to:
- Confidently discuss big data and predictive modeling with data scientists
- Build foundational knowledge to prepare them for continuous advances in risk and insurance analytics
- Effectively make data-driven decisions that can impact their organization's performance
"As the traditional insurance company business model moves to one driven by analytics, it is increasingly important for companies to build and maintain talented analytical teams," said
Risk management, underwriting and claims professionals who need a fundamental understanding of analytical techniques for big data and senior executives, data managers, and regulators who need knowledge of modern analytics to carry out their duties, can benefit from this course.
