The Hartman Group was founded by W. Howard Hartman in 1932 in Williamsport, PA. Hartman operates commercial property and casualty, and personal lines divisions in Williamsport and State College.
The Hartman Group has a long-standing reputation for creating value for businesses and individuals in our communities. The group believes that true business success occurs through the mutual benefit of all participants. The Hartman team is able to overlap the interests of stakeholder groups — clients, employees, insurer partners, communities and its own organization. They believe that their ability to create value is founded in their character, technical expertise and "process" rather than "product" approach, applying expertise and relationships to particular client circumstances.
The team has extensive experience and a commitment to continuous industry education. The Hartman team strives to provide superior service with unparalleled value for every client. Prompt, pleasant and correct is our motto.
