“The failures of Obamacare hammer home what we know: competition works”

Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Luther Strange on Thursday issued the following statement after President Trump signed a new executive order designed to expand healthcare choices and increase insurance market competition to drive down costs for consumers.
"The struggles of American families to find affordable healthcare did not go away when Congress failed to act, and I support any effort to bring the relief they are counting on. Today's action by the President is an important step toward righting the ship, and I hope it renews the commitment of Republicans in the Senate to pull their weight and deliver."
