WASHINGTON, July 8 -- The National Republican Senatorial Committee issued the following news release:
In case you were wondering what Tammy Baldwin's plan for fixing Obamacare is - she doubled down on her support for a single-payer health care plan yesterday.
Tammy Baldwin on single-payer: "It's been a long position of mine." (The Capital Times, 7/6/2017)
She went on to say she is "looking forward" to supporting socialist Bernie Sanders' single-payer health care plan!
These statements come just a few days after the NRSC released new paid Facebook petition ads highlighting Tammy Baldwin's support for a single-payer health care plan.
Obamacare has been a disaster, with costs soaring and choices dwindling across the country, yet Tammy's single-payer solution will only make the problem worse. Recent estimates place a $32 trillion price tag on Baldwin's radical government-run health care idea and that's something Wisconsin families and businesses cannot afford.
