Why This Matters
Many Veterans and families assume they don't qualify or were told "no" once and never tried again. In many cases, that's not the end of the story.
This includes Veterans with conditions like hearing loss, back pain, PTSD, sleep apnea, or exposure-related illnesses.
Recent changes under the PACT Act have expanded benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic environments. Someone denied in the past, or who never applied, may qualify today.

For surviving spouse claims: death certificate, marriage license, and children's birth certificates.
These are not required for your first visit but can help speed up the process.
Final Thought
If you are unsure whether you qualify, don't assume the answer is no. Many claims are approved on a second look. Bring your paperwork and ask the questions. I'll help you figure it out.
