Today,Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) met with President Trump's nominee to serve as the next Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Kevin Warsh.
Senator Jim Banks: (R-Ind.):"The Fed needs to focus on bringing down costs and lowering the high interest rates that are hitting working families. That's why I'm proud to support President Trump's nominee Kevin Warsh who has the experience to help get it done. The Senate should confirm him ASAP!
Kevin Warsh served as a Fed Governor from 20062011 and has decades of experience in the public and private sector. He currently serves as a visiting fellow at Stanford University'sHoover Institution.
President Trump nominated Warsh on January 30, 2026.
