WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- The office of Sen. Luther Strange, R-Alabama, issued the following statement following a vote in the Senate on a motion to proceed to consideration of the repeal of Obamacare:
"Today, my Senate colleagues and I took the first step to deliver on the promise American families have counted on for seven years.
"Alabamians know better than any that the Obamacare experiment in government-run healthcare has failed, leaving millions to pay more money for less care.
"In the days ahead, I will continue to fight for the relief Alabama families deserve."
