Sen. Shaheen Introduces Bill on Level of Premium Subsidy Provided to Agricultural Producers

WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., has introduced legislation (S. 2713) to "limit the level of premium subsidy provided by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation to agricultural producers."
The bill was introduced on April 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., and Patrick Toomey, R-Pa. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
