Sen. Scott Introduces Bill to Ensure Community Accountability for Areas Damaged by Floods

WASHINGTON, June 23 -- Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., has introduced legislation (S. 2153) to amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 "to ensure community accountability for areas repeatedly damaged by floods."
The bill was introduced on June 21. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
