Sen. Merkley Introduces Bill to Remove Limitations on Inmate Eligibility for Medicare

WASHINGTON, Oct. 19 -- Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 2626) to "remove limitations on inmate eligibility for Medicare, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and veteran's health benefits."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 17. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
