Sen. Hassan Introduces Bill on Mortgage Insurance Premium Deduction

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 -- Sen. Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H., has introduced legislation (S. 3590) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to increase the income cap with respect to the mortgage insurance premium deduction, and to make such deduction permanent."

The bill was introduced on Feb. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
