Sen. Cassidy Comments on Release of Senate Health Care Legislation

WASHINGTON, June 22 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., issued the following statement after the release of the Senate health care legislation.
"I was just briefed on the newly released health care legislation. The bill includes elements of the Patient Freedom Act and the MAC Act--which is positive. I will study the bill to determine whether it fulfills President Trump's campaign promises to lower premiums, maintain coverage and protect those with preexisting conditions without mandates."
