Sen. Casey Introduces Bill to Increase Work Opportunity Credit for Vocational Rehabilitation Referrals

WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 3044) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to include individuals receiving Social Security Disability Insurance benefits under the work opportunity credit and to increase the work opportunity credit for vocational rehabilitation referrals, qualified Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients, and qualified SSDI recipients."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 21. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
