Sen. Capito Introduces Bill on Coverage of Prescription Digital Therapeutics Under Medicaid

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., has introduced legislation (S. 5238) to "require the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to provide guidance regarding coverage of prescription digital therapeutics under Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
