BRANCHVILLE, N.J. (AP) _ Selective Insurance Group Inc. (SIGI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $56.2 million.
The Branchville, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of 93 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, were 97 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $710.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $712.6 million.
Selective Insurance shares have climbed 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $71.81, an increase of almost 8% in the last 12 months.
