BRANCHVILLE, N.J. (AP) _ Selective Insurance Group Inc. (SIGI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $69.9 million.
The Branchville, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of $1.16 per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to $1.06 per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $776.6 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $768.8 million.
Selective Insurance shares have fallen 19% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $52.85, a decrease of 26% in the last 12 months.
