The training course, now in its fifth year, is accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute and enables future leaders from RSA's key broking partners to take part in management and leadership training, tailored to the general insurance market.

RSA's seven-month Broker Leader programme, has now welcomed over 50 brokers, since its inception in 2015.

The intensive seven-month programme, has now welcomed over 50 brokers, since its inception in 2015. The course is designed to support the brokers in their careers, helping to equip them with skills in areas such as talent; financial; sales and relationship management, as well as strategy and business planning.

Each broker is partnered with a senior RSA employee who mentors them throughout the course. To ensure the programme is relevant and practical, each candidate brings a live project from their brokerage, applying the skills they learn in real time. The course runs until March 2020 when the brokers will present their business plans for feedback and support from a panel consisting of RSA executives as well as a sponsor from their own broking firm.

* Tristan Lennox-Gentle, The Medical Insurance Advisory Bureau

* Kelly Simmons, Basil Fry

* Samual Jackson, Towergate

* Jordane Dobbins, Towergate
