- Isabel Hudson to step down as senior independent director from RSA Board

RSA Insurance Group plc (the "Company") announces that due to personal reasons Isabel Hudson has decided to retire from the Board on 31 July 2019.
Martin Strobel, an independent non-executive director and chair of the board risk committee, will succeed Isabel as the Company's senior independent director with effect from 1 August 2019.
Martin Scicluna, RSA chairman, said:
"Isabel has made a significant contribution to RSA as senior independent director and as a member of the board risk, remuneration, and nomination and governance committees. I would like to personally thank Isabel for the invaluable advice and guidance she has given to the Board and management. She leaves the Board with our best wishes."
"I am also very pleased that the Board has appointed Martin Strobel to the role of senior independent director. Martin has made a strong contribution to the Board since joining us in May 2016 and has a wealth of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors across a range of areas including customers, risk, IT and governance."
This announcement is made in accordance with LR 9.6.11(2) and (4). Martin Strobel's appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
