Rose Ann Walton

WOOSTER — Rose Ann Walton, 75, of Wooster, died Thursday, March 21, 2019, at LifeCare Hospice.

Friends may call Thursday, March 28th from 4 to 6 p.m. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Rose Ann was born March 16, 1944, in Ronda, West Virginia to William and Clora {Pettry} Payne. She was the 10th of 13 children. She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She married Utah S. Walton on September 27, 1963. Rose Ann retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. She attended Grace Church. Rose Ann enjoyed bingo, card playing, and was known to make many chocolates every year near Christmas.

Rose Ann will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years; sons Randall A. Walton of Loudonville and David A. (Jen) Walton of Congress; grandchildren Tamar and Luke Walton; brothers James Payne of Miami, WV and Gary (Joanne) Payne of Columbia, MD; sister Sherry (Hal) Bishop of Fostoria.

Rose Ann was preceded in death by nine of her siblings.
