RiskPro Partners Expands Risk Management Services Division, Names Julie Davis as Vice President

PR Web

Austin, Texas (PRWEB) June 16, 2016

RiskPro Partners, a high growth privately held insurance brokerage firm based in Texas, announced that Julie Davis will assume the position of Vice President, Risk Management Services, in RiskPro Partner's Austin office.

Julie Davis joins RiskPro Partners following a rich career in insurance and risk management. She has been a catalyst for helping technology and innovation firms manage their risk profiles. While based in Silicon Valley, Julie served as Executive Vice President for Aon Risk Services Technology Practice and led their National Practice for Emerging Technology firms. In that role, her division served more than 1,400 technology firms. Many of those firms had frequent M & A and IPO activities, and those that went public had an aggregate market cap exceeding $40 billion. Davis also served a two-year role at a super regional brokerage firm, where she developed risk management programs for firms that operate in the collaborative sharing industry (P2P ride sharing, car sharing and real estate sharing).

Julie was named a 2012 and 2011 Power Broker by Risk & Insurance Magazine, was the recipient of the Chicago Innovation Award, was awarded the Insurance Innovators Award by Insurance Networking News, was a finalist in Annual Stevie Awards for Best New Product / Service, and was recognized by I-Street Magazine in their 4th annual women led initiatives and Annual Stevie Awards for Best Woman Executive. Julie was also the co-author of one of the first publications in cyber risk; "ERisks: Liabilities in a Wired World."

Additionally, Julie served two years as the Executive Director of the TechAssure Association, a leading global association comprised of independent insurance brokers who specialize in technology and innovation products and services. In this position she was responsible for oversight, sponsorships, carrier relationships, growth, national and international expansion, development of TechAssure University learning portal, marketing and communications, board and governance, membership and fundraising.

"The largest drivers of the Texas economy include technology, innovation firms, healthcare organizations, sharing economy (car, ride, real estate sharing) and financial services. Julie's industry expertise aligns with our targeted customer base and business growth plans," said Todd Young, President of RiskPro Partners' Risk Management Division.
