RIMS Broward County Chapter Named Chapter of the Year

WASHINGTON, April 29 -- The Risk and Insurance Management Society issued the following news release:

RIMS, the risk management society(R), presented the Chapter of the Year Award to RIMS Broward County Chapter (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida) for delivering exceptional resources, programming and opportunities to local members in 2018. The Chapter of the Year honor is part of RIMS ECHO Awards Program that also recognized four other chapters - RIMS Ontario Chapter, RIMS Arizona Central Chapter, RIMS Central Texas Chapter and RIMS Oregon Chapter - at RIMS 2019 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Boston.

The ECHO Awards Program - Enhancing CHapter Outcomes - honors chapters that have successfully aligned their programming with RIMS' strategic priorities to innovate, develop, engage and advocate for the global risk management community. This year's chapter recipients received ECHO Awards in the following categories:

* RIMS Chapter of the Year - RIMS Broward County Chapter

* ECHO Award At-Large Winner - RIMS Ontario Chapter

* Resource Development - RIMS Arizona Central Chapter

* Engagement - RIMS Central Texas Chapter

* Advocacy - RIMS Oregon Chapter
