News editors obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “There are numerous insurance companies and insurance marketplaces. In both realms, consumers have an ongoing worry about whether or not they are getting the right coverage at the best possible price. In both of these cases, it may primarily be the consumer’s responsibility to do the research, find better options, evaluate those options, and then switch from one plan and/or insurer to another. Conventional techniques may have other drawbacks as well.”
As a supplement to the background information on this patent application, NewsRx correspondents also obtained the inventor’s summary information for this patent application: “The present embodiments may relate to systems and methods for managing insurance contracts. The platform may include an insurance management (“IM”) computer system, a plurality of insurance provider computer systems, a plurality of user computer devices, and/or at least one telematics computer system associated with a vehicle and/or a residence. The IM computer system may be a server device associated with an insurance broker or a third party independent of a plurality of insurance providers.
