WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., issued the following statement in response to the resignation of Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price:
"For the better part of a decade Congressman Tom Price justified ending health care programs like the Affordable Care Act as a way to cut costs. Well, it is clear that when it came to his own actions, he wasn't nearly so fiscally conservative.
"He now leaves the Trump Administration as the abject failure that I anticipated when he was selected Secretary of Health and Human Services with a known record of questionable stock trades with healthcare companies.
"He should now repay the Treasury in full and Trump should select a replacement who will protect the health and wellness of the American people."
