WASHINGTON, July 28 -- Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, issued the following statement after it was announced that the latest Senate efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare was not successful:
"I am extremely disappointed that the Senate has been unable to pass any version of a health care bill.
"The House passed a bill to repeal and replace the worst parts of Obamacare in May, and the Senate should do the same. Obamacare is simply not working as promised.
"It will get worse. We must continue to work to stop the harmful effects of this law, control costs, and put patients in charge of their health care."
