Rep. Pressley Introduces Bill to Improve Children’s Health Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, May 9 -- Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (H.R. 2602) to amend titles XIX and XXI of the Social Security Act "to improve Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program for low-income mothers."
The bill was introduced on May 8 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Alma S. Adams, D-N.C., and Lauren Underwood, D-Ill. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
