Rep. Pressley Introduces Bill on Coverage for Over-The-Counter Contraceptives

WASHINGTON, June 15 -- Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.has introduced legislation (H.R. 3296) to "require group health plans and group or individual health insurance coverage to provide coverage for over-the-counter contraceptives."
The bill was introduced on June 14 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Katie Hill, D-Calif., Ami Bera, D-Calif., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. It was jointly referred to the House Energy and Commerce, Education and Labor and Ways and Means committees.
