Rep. Lujan-Grisham Introduces Crop Insurance Fairness Act

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, D-N.M., has introduced the Crop Insurance Fairness Act (H.R. 7088) to amend the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 "to require that the Secretary of Agriculture to require a notice period with respect to certain modifications of assigned yields under the noninsured crop disaster assistance program."

The bill was introduced on Oct. 23 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Ben Lujan, D-N.M. It was referred to the House Agriculture Committee.
