WASHINGTON, July 13 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Mich., introduced the "Bob von Schwedler Permanent Health Coverage Tax Credit Expansion Act" on June 7, 2023. The text of the bill was released on July 12.
H.R. 3912. A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to make the health coverage tax credit permanent; to the Committee on Ways and Means.
The bill is cosponsored by Reps. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., Terri A. Sewell, D-Ala., Gwen Moore, D-Wis., and Dwight Evans, D-Pa.

SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the "Bob von Schwedler Permanent Health Coverage Tax Credit Expansion Act".
SEC. 2. Permanent credit for health insurance costs.
