Rep. Kennedy Introduces Bill on Enrollment of Individuals Under Medicaid Program

WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1879) to amend titles XIX and XXI of the Social Security Act "to provide for 12-month continuous enrollment of individuals under the Medicaid program and Children's Health Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on March 26 and was co-sponsored by Rep. John Katko, R-N.Y. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
